Wollaton Hall, four miles from the hotel, is a 16th-century mansion that's home to Nottingham's Natural History Museum. You can tour the building, then check out ploughing equipment, Brough motorbikes and a large Basford beam engine from 1858 at the Nottingham Industrial Museum, housed in the outbuildings.
