The Sundial Bridge is a cantilever spar cable-stayed bridge for bicycles and pedestrians that spans the Sacramento River in Redding, California, United States and forms the world's largest sundial.

One of three known caverns in Shasta County. The limestone beds originated 250 million years ago when the area was submerged and subjected to folding of the earths crust. Subsequent submerging and volcanic action helped create the caverns.

Mount Shasta or "White Mountain" is located in Siskiyou County and at 14,179 ft is the second highest peak in the Cascades and the fifth highest in California. Activities include skiing, snowboarding, hiking and mountain climbing.

The park's centerpiece is the 129 ft Burney Falls. Not the highest or largest waterfall in the state but quite possibly the most beautiful. Activities include camping, boating, picnicing, hiking and swimming.

Shasta Dam is a curved gravity concrete dam on the Sacramento River above Redding, Ca built between 1938 and 1945. The dam is 602 ft high and 3,460 ft long. The reservoir created behind the dam is known as Shasta Lake and is a popular boating area.

The park provides outdoor enthusiasts with excellent opportunities for water recreation, hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding. Whiskeytown Lake provides 36 miles of shoreline and 3,200 surface acres for recreation.

Come witness a brief moment in the ancient battle between the earth shaping forces of creation and destruction. Nestled within Lassen's peaceful mountain forests you will find that hissing fumaroles and boiling mud pots still shape and change the land.
