Must See

The newly-rebranded and expansive Disney Springs shopping and entertainment district keeps growing. The good news is they’ve also added free parking and new roadways to make it easier to visit. Disney Springs continues to add a variety of great dining, shops and entertainment, including a new VR experience at The Void that immerses you in the world of Star Wars. It’s a great spot to hang out!

Must Do

Right now, the Pandora World of Avatar attractions at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park Avatar Flight of Passage and Na’vi River Journey are extremely popular. However, waits can be hours long. Be sure to use Disney’s free FastPass+ system to reserve a time, which begin 30 days prior to your arrival if you’ve already bought your tickets. If not, get there early and hope for the best!

Don't Go Home Without

If you’re looking for nightlife and dining fun, you can head to downtown Orlando or over to the famous I-Drive closer to the resort and parks. You’ll find plenty of options to enjoy. On I-Drive, Mango’s Tropical Cafe is the largest offering and features “dinner and a show” with a Latin flair open to all ages. Then, from 10 pm until 2 am, there’s a cover charge.

If visiting theme parks, research FastPass+. They’re a lifesaver, especially if trying to get on popular rides. But get them right when you get into the park, as they can quickly run out. Disney offers limited fast pass reservations 30 days before arrival once you’ve bought your ticket. And for beaches, closest are Cocoa Beach and Daytona Beach, about a 1.5-hour drive on Toll Road 528.
