Speedy's focuses on smaller airboat tours with a maximum of six people, providing a more personal Florida Everglades experience through the mangrove jungles and grasslands. Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens, originally a historic garden of more than 3,000 species of tropical plants, offers a lush setting and a large variety of exotic animals. In fact, they are the only zoo in Florida with all four of Africa's predators: lions, spotted hyenas, leopards, and African wild dogs. A natural pathway winds itself through the 52-acre site and brings you up close to the exhibits. There are also shows throughout the day and a boat ride to islands occupied by monkeys and lemurs.
