This is a good location and the property is in very good condition. Mattress was very good, and room was quiet, but for the necessary HVAC sound.

I've stayed at this hotel a few times over the past several years, and enjoy it each time. The staff is friendly and attentive...and some of them even remember me from my previous visits!
The rooms are clean and functional...I especially like the suites. I travel through this area several times during the year, and always stay here.

This hotel was a great value. It was clean, comfortable and especially accomodating to persons with disabilities. This was our second stay at this location and we plan to come back again next time we are in the area.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Homeseeker1 Rough Night, uncomfortable bed
For a person on the road this is an acceptable place to be safe especially when traveling with pets. There is no leniency, no matter how high your IHG status, in being charged extra for tiny dogs. So, plan on an extra $100 per night.
Breakfast is quite unhealthy with lots of high fat, sugary, white flour foods; very few fruits, whole grains, nuts. There are no gluten free options.
Mostly, the bed is very uncomfortable and non-supportive. You'll probably awake with both a back and neck ache.
It is a safe and quiet area so if you are in need and traveling with pets, it's ok in a pinch.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by cstevens6569 Great place to stop
We decided to stop 1/2 way through our trip to Ukiah and booked the HIE in Ashland. From the moment we walked in, we were felt welcomed and appreciated. The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to fantastic restaurants (a Mexican and a brew pub) and was very comfortable. It was nice to have some healthier options for breakfast in the form of turkey sausages, low fat options and even soy milk for my husband. We would definitely stay here again on our trip south.
