We enjoyed our stay. We found the staff to be friendly and accommodating, and the hotel to be clean and comfortable. The room was quiet and clean. The air conditioning worked great and the thermostat kept the room comfortable (I have been to hotels where I just can't seem to get the temperature 'right'). We stay at a lot of hotels and have stayed at this one a couple of times. Very nice, good value.

While the hotel is clean and the staff are friendly, I have 2 major complaints:
The first is that I have stayed at this hotel numerous times, and EVERY time they have messed up the billing. As a business traveler, I make the reservation on my personal credit card then my company follows it up by sending the hotel an authorization to bill my stay to the company's credit card. As I said, EVERY time I have had to fix the billing after I have checked out, as the hotel continues to bill my card instead of the company's. When I travel, I always stay at Holiday Inn if it is available, and the Bridgeport hotel is the only one that has a problem with the billing.
The 2nd complaint is the wireless internet. I need internet access to work in my room, and EVERY time I have stayed at this hotel the internet has been extremely slow and I have to call the front desk numerous times only to have the representative tell me some version of "well I don't know, but I'll try to reset it and see if that helps". Again, this is the only Holiday Inn I have stayed at where this is a problem.
I'm seriously considering changing to another chain when I visit the Bridgeport, WV area.

One of the best HIE"s I have visited. Professional staff,
helpful and caring. Clean inside and out. Breakfast food bar presentation good and quality of food excellent.
