The White Pine Trail is Michigan's longest rail-trail that follows the former Grand Rapids and Indiana rail bed for 93.5 miles. The White Pine Trail runs through five counties:Kent, Mecosta, Montcalm, Osceola, and Wexford. The trail's surface varies between asphalt, crushed stone, gravel, and ballast. The White Pine Trail is a great trail for snowmobiling, walking, cross country skiing, mountain biking, and in-line skating.
