Teatro Regio di Parma, originally constructed as the new Ducal Theatre, is an Opera house and Opera company in Parma. Replacing an obsolete house, the new Ducale achieved prominence in the years after 1829, and especially so after the composer Giuseppe Verdi who was born near Busseto some thirth km.away, hade achieved fame. Also well know in Parma was the conductor Arturo Toscanini born there in 1867

The Teatro Farnese is a Renaissance theatre in the Palazzo della Pilotta in Parma. It was built in 1618 by Giovanni Battista Aleotti. The idea of creating this grand thatre came from the Duke of Parma and Piacenza Ranucci I Farnese. It was part of the complex of the Ducale Palace of Parma. The thatre was almost destroyed by an allied air radi during World War II. it was rebuilt and reopened in 1962

Parma Cathedral is a Roman Catholic cathedral dedicated to the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Is the episcopal seat of the Diocese of Parma. It is an important Italian Romanesque cathedral. In the dome, in particolar is decorated by a highly influential illusionistic fresco by the painter Correggio. The Baptistery of Parma marks a transition between the Romanesque and Gothis styles. The city council commisioned Benedetto Antelami to build the Baptistey in 1196

The Chamber of the Abbess or Chamber of san Paolo is a room in the former monastery of San Paolo in Parma, famous for having been frescoed in 1518-1519 by Correggio. The decoration includes the vault and the fireplace hood, and is centred on the theme of the goddess Diana

The Stuard Art Gallery in Parma, housed since 2002 in a wing of the ancient Benedicitne monastery of San Paolo, is named after the benefactor and collector Giuseppe Stuard, to whom we owe the first nucleus of the museum's artistic collections
