We use this hotel every year to visit people in GA. Convenient and their staff is always attentive, friendly, helpful and more. They def. keep this place up-to-date and fresh every time we are there.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Tina1961 Sunday Breakfast was WONDERFUL because of Ms. Pam!
We stayed on Friday and Saturday nights for a local ball tournament. Friday night, the hotel was booked solid, so we knew there might have been noise and problems with our Saturday morning breakfast. All went well, not too noisy. However, the breakfast was not a good experience on Saturday morning. Food/coffee was not getting refilled, the trash was overflowing, counters needed to be wiped off. I heard 2 girls laughing and jaw-jacking in the prep area, and they rarely made an appearance to take care of the breakfast area. This is where first impressions are truly made. We did not have high expectations for Sunday morning, because we knew the hotel was still booked. To our surprise, Ms. Pam, who was working the breakfast, was truly a woman who could multi-task. She appeared to be the only one in the prep area, yet could manage to clean, refill, speak kindly to the people dining.....all the while singing so beautifully that it truly made my morning. She asked everyone how they were doing, did not seemed rushed or hurried, yet managed to refill eggs, bacon, fruit, coffee---everything! The dining area was clean, trash was kept to a minimun. Because of our encounter with Ms. Pam at the Sunday morning breakfast, our impression of the Phenix City Holiday Inn was improved.
BTW, please post a sign in the check-in area that Phenix City, while in Alabama, is on Eastern, not Central Time. :D
