Their management and staff take pride in serving each of their guests with a smile and a kind word. In fact, we got a late check in, around 4:30 p.m. It was especially sorely disappointing as we started calling around 10 a.m. on the day to see if an early check in would be possible. Most hotels when we call ahead make it a priority to prepare the room early. Not here. The hotel staff was very matter of fact about it. While we understand that that hotel was fully booked, the fact that we were calling in early should have alerted the hotel to arrange for housekeeping services to get to our suite. We had little ones and needed to settle in/unwind. Oh well. $15 discount that the hotel offered was not quite impressive enough. We plan to make Sequim our regular destination and were hoping to find our local stay a regular. Great hotels are often marked by great service and hospitality and not so much the breakfast or even the pool. May 25, 2015
