Hello,
I visited Dayton from August 2nd to 3rd. I checked in at around 4 pm and was immediately greeted by a room that was extremely smelly and hot. It was a two-bedroom Queen-sized room. I requested a move to a different room, but she placed me in a regular King-sized room without a pull-out bed for my daughter. Consequently, she had to sleep on a half-couch.
As we slept, the room remained extremely hot, and we had to sweat profusely. The air conditioner was malfunctioning, and when I informed the young lady in the morning, she claimed that she couldn’t do anything about it. I requested a refund or some form of compensation, but she refused, stating that the lady who had checked me in should have put me in a King suite. She also suggested that I should have mentioned my concerns earlier that night. However, I had already paid for my stay, and she had informed me upon my check-in that the room was full and that many rooms were out of service.
This was the worst stay I’ve ever had in any hotel, especially an IHG-branded hotel. I am requesting a full refund for my one-night stay.

I got 2 rooms, one of them was occupied already I walked in on someone changing it took the front desk 30 minutes to figure out what other room they were going to give me. The bath tub in the other room was full of dirty water. This was not the best experience at all

I’ve stayed at the hotel multiple times. Each stay is magnificent. Very clean & quiet. The staff are remarkable. Everyone is very professional and caring towards us each time we visit

I was prepared for the worst I even brought my own sheets, towel and Lysol expecting to need them. Dayton TX isn’t a huge town with a lot of hotels so it wasn’t like I could go somewhere else. I’m very OCD and I was stressing myself worrying about the cleanliness and safety of the property but I absolutely cannot think of one thing to make a legitimate complaint about.

The stay was awesome, except there was no breakfast available at 8:30 am. I did bring this to the attention of the front desk and she told me that they will be working on it.

The hotel staff when we checked in was very friendly. They did not mention this time that I was a rewards member, but that was fine. Once we got into the room the room had a really bad smell and the bathroom door didnt close completely. We talked to the front desk service member about it and she took maintenance in there. Maintenance stated that it wasn’t something that could be fixed and our room was moved. The the new room which was directly next-door did not smell and seem fine. However, later that night our kids tried to watch TV and the TV did not work. We spoke to the front desk person about this and she stated maintenance was off the waffle maker was also down and the oatmeal machine wasn’t plugged up.

Was a good hotel I am disappointed that they don't have apple pay and they don't take cash but other than those 2 disappointments it was really good and we will be staying again asap

Staff was amazing and rooms were clean. We drove 21 hours and they were so helpful getting us a room a day early and checking out a day early. I found the beds so comfy and the pillows were amazing. I would like to warn they do not have a pool if you’re looking for one.
