Located in a business park but there is a nice mall within a couple miles and other shopping not too far away. Close to the Denver (RTD) metro station (Lincoln) which I used a couple days to avoid the Interstate (I-25) traffic and high downtown parking rates. The room was clean and I love the comfort of the HI Express beds. The pool was available but un-heated while I was there. A nice exercise room. The breakfast was pretty standard HI Express breakfast but not as large of a selection as others that I have stayed at.

This hotel is a great place to stay. The staff is incredibly helpful and nice. The rooms are clean and the hotel is quiet. The cook is professional and shows pride in his work. The cleaning ladies are excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

I cannot give this hotel 5 stars because of one reason. Staff! Most of the time staff did not care that you were there or the cleaning people would say "No habla ingles". The owner would show up and suddenly the staff cares and comes around at breakfast to say good morning.

Wonderful experience at this hotel, starting with the friendly front desk staff at check-in and continuing to comfortable room and great technology amenities (I really like the ability to easily stream programming from my phone to the in-room television sets). At breakfast the coffee, cinnamon buns, sausage and omelets were all hot, fresh and delicious! I stayed at this property because other IGH properties in my destination city (15 minutes away) were double the cost of this property and very much reaped the benefit of my decision!

WE booked our stay @ HIE, Englewood, Co, traveling into the area, we received a great deal since it was their last room but oh, my what a room, it was a suite, not knowing since we knew we were getting whatever was left. The room was fabulous, the young lady (staff) @ the front desk was so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful since we also needed to find a nice restaurant for dinner. The Hacienda Restaurant was an excellent choice, the breakfast was beyond words EXCELLENT, everything you can imagine wanting for breakfast was available. ⭐ 1 Star – Unacceptable Experience for a Loyal IHG

As a loyal IHG Rewards member for over 5 years—and someone who works full time on the road—I’ve stayed at countless Holiday Inn Express locations nationwide. I’ve spent thousands of dollars at this specific Englewood, CO location alone in the past 6 months, returning repeatedly because of one exceptional front desk agent, Chanel. Her customer service has always been 5-star, and she made me feel valued and respected.
Unfortunately, during my recent stays when Chanel was not on duty, the service and hospitality have significantly declined. The woman currently managing the front desk (who I believe is the owner’s wife) is rude, dismissive, and combative. She talks over guests, avoids resolving concerns, and seems more focused on control and money than genuine guest satisfaction.
The most disappointing moment was when I was told that I am “not as valued as an IHG member” because I booked through a third-party site. That’s incredibly disrespectful, especially considering the volume of business I bring and my status as a Gold Elite member. If this location properly credited third-party stays, I’d likely be Platinum by now.
Additionally, when I requested a standard 2 PM late check-out—which most Holiday Inn Express locations offer graciously given my travel status—I was flatly told I could have only one hour or be charged $50 for the extra hour. Completely unacceptable, especially for a frequent guest.
Lastly, I witnessed what appeared to be housekeeping staff working while their young children sat unattended in the hallway. It was concerning, unprofessional, and possibly a labor violation.
I’ve never felt so unappreciated at an IHG property. Unless management and service improve drastically, I won’t be returning—and I will seriously reconsider my loyalty to the IHG brand.
