This hotel is not up to normal Holiday Inn Express standards.. The only ice machines and garbage cans were on the first floor. The breakfast did not have bananas or muffins - poor selections. The bathroom had only one towel rack with no hooks for hanging towels or clothes. The TV guide was wrong for the majority of channels. We were awakened by screaming young adults at 1:30 am. The staff was not at the front desk at certain times. The bed was comfortable as usual but the experience was below standards. Not recommended.

This place was dirty and needs to be deep cleaned. The hotel needs updating to meet expectations for a Holiday Inn Express.

We booked our stay at the last minute, having to leave our hotel by The Grand Canyon a day early to avoid the looming snowstorm. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, with lots of excellent choices. We would have no problem staying at this property again!

When we booked our stay, we never got a confirmation. The next morning when we called to find out why, both our name and email wasn't even remotely close to being correct in their system. But they corrected it and we got our confirmation.
When we checked our card, the price suddenly changed on us and what we were originally told was the total, wasn't the same that they charged our card.
When we arrived, we spoke to them and they did refund us the difference, thankfully.
They then put us in a king size room with fold out bed, when we had asked for two queens.
Unfortunately the beds were horribly uncomfortable, our teen son slept for maybe 3 hours on the pull out which meant we slept not much more than that as well.
Trust the reviews, never again! I've spent less than half the amount at different hotels and received double the pros!

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Mesa while attending a spring training game. The price was reasonable. It was clean, quiet, and the staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast was good and not crowded. The Manager, Glenn, personally resolved a booking issue quickly and professionally. We would stay here again.
Overall good. Needs some repair.

Decent proximity to Mesa baseball stadiums. Good price.
None of the room's safes were functional. My original room's sink wouldn't drain. When you exited via the side doors, you couldn't re-enter through that door. You had to go around through the front door. It appeared that no one cleaned the fitness center. for the three days I was there.

We were on a 11 day cross-country trip and stayed at many different IHG hotels. This hotel was by far the best! There was always someone at the front desk and they greeted us every time we came in. The whole place was immaculately clean. Staff even cleaned the outside of the outdoor trash can every morning. We highly recommend this gem if you are in the area!
Note: There is not a laundry room at the hotel.
