We came down for a dance competition for nationals. I had 3 rooms reserved. The front desk had us in only 2 rooms and then had to make changes on paper to one of the rooms and was a little confused. Our room with our kids had a sofa sleeper that did not have any sheets or pillows. I had to walk down and ask for them along with extra towels since they only stocked it for 2 people when my reservation said 2 adults and 2 kids. Water pressure was “eh” and the AC wasn’t working at first. There was the usb hookup that was making noise by the lamp and when I asked about it the person said nothing they could do. Pool was small and overall will be trying to get closer to the civic center next year

I requested to be closer to the elevator(I’m disabled) and I was actually as far away from it as can be.
No info booklet in room,
Not a ton of breakfast options,
Ice only on 1st floor
Oh and the pool area wasn’t cleaned we literally went to the pool when it opened (key didn’t work had to be asked to be let in) there were no towels except wet used ones laying around from night before, the pool only could have 19 people max, hot tub 9 and there was a ant infestation coming from the pool supply room which made ants crawl around the hot tub OH! Also pool bathroom had band-aides stuck all over the wall…just about 300$ (with a group discount) for 2 nights on a weekend which for that price I expect at least things to be picked up to an extent.
I would probably stay again because I like to give places the benefit of the doubt but I also wasn’t super happy about the stay.

Told desk person that tv had no picture had sound! That was at 9pm ! Told person in the morning the TV was not working At 7:00 am ask to checkout at 12 noon no problem! Tv still was not working! So I reminded them of the problem still clueless! Not sure if tv ever was fixed!! For the price I paid for the room tv should work!

Although this hotel has great breakfast, location, cleanliness and a very professional and kind staff. The air conditioning never worked in my room. I brought this to the attention of the front desk and I was offered another room without any hesitation. The problem is when you’re traveling and you have already unpacked and wiped your room down(my wife always does this) the last thing you want to do is redo this task again. I turned the air on 65 around 3:30pm went shopping, out to eat, visited family and returned around 10pm and the room was exactly how I left it, HOT! I am a big supporter of IHG but come on guys, check the rooms prior to a patrons arrival. I may be a bit hesitant to stay here on my next visit.

The desk worker was very friendly and helpful. There was plenty of parking in the lot. The room was very clean and had plenty of space. The bathroom was desert size as well. The Breakfast area was very nicely set up and plenty of food.

I have had to go to the Mayo Clinic for several vests. When we go, we always stay at the Holiday Inn Exxpress. They do have shuttle service to Mayo, but we always drive there. This location is very convenient, it's just a little out but the area is nice and quiet. There is also a lot of places to eat right by the motel. There is a Target, ROSS, Old Navy. Maurices, CVS really close. For my next appointments at Rochester will be staying there.
Bathtub needs work.

Bathtub drained slow and there was a low spot in the tub so there was water at my feet that never drained.

We visit Mayo Clinic 3-4 times per year and are pretty loyal to IHG hotels. Price, cleanliness, great staff, this one is the best of the lot in town -- unless it is snowing! If snowing, we will default to Hotel Indigo because it is connected to the Skyway/Subway to Mayo. Indigo is good too, but you pay for parking and breakfast.
