A Poor Choice You Might Have to Make

The biggest advantage of Holiday Inn Express Zhuhai Guishan Island is its convenient location, but beyond that, the stay was filled with disappointments. Check-in was painfully slow, and the front desk staff were indifferent, offering little in terms of hospitality. During peak hours, getting hot water in the shower took far too long, and the sink drained sluggishly, showing a lack of proper maintenance.
Breakfast was another major letdown. Staff repeatedly asked for meal vouchers they had already collected, and the noodle station frequently got orders wrong. Food replenishment was slow, and the quality left much to be desired—frozen dim sum had noticeable issues, and some toppings even tasted off. The experience was further dampened by a lack of attention to detail, from worn-out room furnishings to a poorly formatted welcome email that didn’t even include the manager’s name.
For those with limited accommodation options in the area, this hotel might seem like a necessary choice, but the subpar service, maintenance issues, and disappointing dining experience make it hard to recommend. It’s in serious need of better management, staff training, and quality control to meet the standards expected of the Holiday Inn Express brand.

周末在大湾区转转，准备在万山群岛找一个转转，发现桂山岛上有了家HIX，而且暑假周末订当周日入住还能有积分房。入住当天下午3点多上岛，酒店离码头步行不到5分钟，大堂虽然很多人，但入住时识别了会员等级很快给了可用房间，并给了房型升级，送了会员果盘。
第二天早餐人挺多，暑假旺季，位置很紧张，食物的供应也偶有断档，不过员工也很努力了。
总体体验不错，感谢酒店的服务，也感谢IHG能让会员在这样的岛上也能提供IHG的品牌选择。

It’s nice to stay in this hotel. I got warmly welcome at check in counter, the room was upgraded to sea view balcony room, and was quite clean.
The staff were kindly, helped us a lot . especially the one whose name is 阿德，drove us to restaurants , pier, and helped us carry luggage when he saw us carrying infants.

酒店离码头很近，步行5分钟即可到达，客服面积挺大的，浴室和马桶分开在浴室的2边，有智能马桶，床品舒适，早餐丰富......

就是希望加強員工訓練，還有就是既然是海島類型酒店希望能更完善一下住客交通需求，如果有電動車租借就更好了

酒店地理位置非常的好，一出码头就能看到，入户花园的区域也很好看，房间面积比一般的智选要大很多，各方面都很不错，唯一美中不足的是早餐种类很少，希望之后能慢慢调整
