CHLA incorporated recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the California Department of Public Health and county health departments, in a 10-page guide for guest and employee cleanliness, workplace cleaning and safety, and healthy guest experiences. The "Clean + Safe" guide was created at the end of April well ahead of our state's reopening to provide time for hotels to implement their programs and ensure employees had the two essential elements needed for a hotel to successfully re-open-guidance for hoteliers and confidence for travelers.
