Comfortable room and great service
By mature mother
My stay was brief but it was very important to get good sleep. The hotel was not to blame for raucous behavior by other guests at 3am in the corridors.[Less]
Nice hotel, excellent location, great service. Great to use as hub for visiting Tulum and parks nearby.[Less]
Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. Facilities at the hotel were excellent along with the service levels.[Less]
A Gem in Cozumel
My wife and I brought our two young children to the Intercontinental Presidente on 11/10/15. We had previously booked at another resort in Riviera Maya and had prepaid for a vacation of one week.[More] After having a horrible experience at the other resort, I knew that we had to move and when I saw that there was an Intercontinental on Cozumel I thought that this was a safe bet based on past experience with Intercontinental in other locations. Not only was it a safe bet, it exceed our expectations. The first night at the resort we had dinner at the Caribe restaurant literally ocean front with the water no more than ten feet from our table. It was incredible. Our two year old was exhausted from the day of moving resorts and experiencing the ferry ,etc. and fell asleep at the table. Francisco, our waiter, found two chairs and pads and make a bed for him to sleep in next to our table. We were very touched that he cared enough to do that and it allowed Mom and Dad a much needed quiet meal. The remainder of the trip was so good that we actually extended for a few more days. The service was timely and they seemed to anticipate our needs. A rare experience. My wife and I plan to return, and would suggest a beach front room.[Less]
Nice place to stay
fairly expensive in the off season. the hotel was 20% booked and mostly like a ghost town. I expected it to be slow but I think the pricing should be reduced during the off season. you sat with many[More] rooms unused when for much less you could have had people dining, drinking, etc. enjoying the facility instead of sitting vacant.
Marketing 101, someone should look at this.
