Hotel was easy enough to find.
I would like to say that check-in was almost as easy but it wasn't. Our room key cards weren't programmed properly by reception and you need these cards for lift access to the bedroom floors. we inserted one card, the doors closed and nothing happened, we tried the other card, nothing happened, we tried calling, banging on the lift door, and sounding the alarm (that only gets you a recorded message). Suddenly the door opened and out we shot to reception who seem unfazed about our scary ordeal. Yes we got new cards and the duty manager accompanied us to our room.
The room on the 5th floor was reasonable with a fantastic sea view, now try the TV. We switched it on and followed the instructions and all we saw was a black screen displaying PLEASE WAIT, after 10 minutes, we switched it off and back on and ignored the instructions and it worked!!
And so to bed - Don't expect a comfortable night's sleep here for you have the accompaniment of the room air-con/heating and the bathroom fan both running 24/7 and the joys of hearing everyone else's plumbing!!
Breakfast was OK.
Departure day and back to the lift - guess what it did to us again? Trapped us inside, after a few minutes the doors reopened.
Hotel was even easier to leave!

great room,staff fantastic & very helpful plenty to choose from at breakfast great view from your bedroom across the sea and golf course park and ride outside the hotel takes you straight to city center.

Many thanks to Jim and his team at Aberdeen Exhibition Centre for all there efforts to host our swim team whilst competing at National Championships in Aberdeen.
The level of attention and assisting us in ensuring all aspects of our stay were accommodated were fantastic and allowed the group to concentrate on the competition whilst being fully rested and fed during our stay.
Excellent job by all at the hotel, Many thanks.
