Osaka is Japan's manufacturing heartbeat and the ANA Crowne Plaza Osaka hotel occupies a prime spot near the offices of some of the nation's biggest firms. You can also make us your base as you explore the historic cities of Kyoto, Nara and Kobe, all short train journeys away.
The InterContinental Osaka connects to Osaka Station via the sky bridge of Grand Front Osaka, a new commercial and lifestyle complex, ensuring our guests have easy access throughout the Kansai region for both business and leisure. Guests can find the sky bridge located on the 2nd floor of the Osaka Station Central North exit.
Guests booking into the Club rooms at ANA Crowne Plaza Kobe receive a security key for exclusive elevator access to dedicated floors and for entry into the Club Lounge. Head there for complimentary cocktails and a welcoming setting for networking with colleagues.
My wife and i stayed at the hotel for 5 nights in May 2015. The reception is on the 20th floor so unlike most hotels where you can easily identify where the lobby is, here depending on the entrance[More]
you find yourselves in front of lifts or the bell desk who can help with your luggage. The reception area is nice with a nice view over Osaka and many staff ready to help. We were soon in our room on 21st floor and had a nice big room with all the amenities you would expect in an Intercontinental hotel. The bed was comfortable and there was a nice area where we could just sit and relax. The hotel itself is very close to Osaka station (within a short walk) and within a nice shopping area so you don't need to walk far to shop.
Only real negative was the price of a take away coffee - it was about 1,400 Yen (about $12US) as compared to 400 Yen in Starbucks just a few minutes walk away. The room itself is expensive that there is no need to charge such a ridiculous amount for a coffee - and the taste was no better! [Less]
