Featured Vienna Hotels

We have three Vienna family hotels for you to choose from on your visit to the Austrian capital.

Often referred to as the "City of Music," Vienna is a beautiful city steeped in history. Its many landmarks include the Rathaus building, Stephansplatz, the Parliament Building and the Donauturm. The latter is a tall tower with observatory decks at the top offering impressive views across the whole city.

There are also more than 70 museums in Vienna. These include the Third Man Museum, the Leopold Museum and the wonderful Haus Der Musik museum which has 6 floors dedicated to celebrating music and sound. Kids will absolutely love it.

Shoppers heading to the city's Old City area will be spoiled for choice with numerous alternative shops and independent retailers. The Old City also houses the Golden Quarter, a luxurious shopping area that hosts the flagship store of Louis Vuitton and Emporio Armani amongst others. Vienna also boasts 26 permanent markets, so you really can shop till you drop here.

There are a number of football teams in Vienna, perhaps the best known being Rapid Vienna. They play their home games at the Gerhard Hanappi Stadium.

As a major European capital, Vienna is accessible from the UK through direct flights from cities including London, Manchester and Birmingham. The city is well connected to other cities in Austria by rail (e.g. Salzburg) and also to cities in nearby Germany.

If you're planning a break in this stunning city, check in to one of our Vienna family hotels and we'll make you right at home.

I am a regular at the Vienna intercontinental. I am generally 3 nights per week in different European cities and my hotel stays utilise all the major chains. This is hotel is always one I look [More] forward to. It has a great location, but for me the defining factor is the grand decor and the fantastic stafff. It just feels special. [Less]
Great location and great staff
By AK-Trav
1. The location is great - close to Naschmarkt, close to subway (Kettenbruckengasse), can walk to Ring Strasse, 4 or 5 stops on the subway to Schronbrunn palace. There are 3 Billa stores (department [More] store) around 5 mins away - one to the left, one to the right and one straight ahead. Bus 13A to Hbf is max 20 mins. 2. The staff is superb. Only met 2 of them - one during check in (Frau N) and one during check out (Frau KR) - their level of professionalism and guest care is par excellence. 3. The hotel common area is very pleasing to the eye. The room I stayed in (116) was great. [Less]
Great and comfortable stay!
By SarahWu
The hotel was reasonably priced for the size of the rooms and was well maintained and clean. As an IHG Platinum member, I am given the complimentary upgrade which is much appreciated. The hotel [More] was small but had everything, I had gone to the hotel and stayed for 7 nights as I was waiting for some official documents. I was able to use the hotel facilities including the computer and printer which allowed me to continue doing my work in a comfortable manner. Reception staff was knowledgable and helpful and helped me in all ways they could. The free cake at the lobby was inviting and a nice touch. Thanks [Less]
Great lil holiday inn

Room size are average for Vienna and nice and clean and updated. (Except no universal power outlets) Need adapter. Location is close enough to downtown. Overall very nice and clean hotel with a Euro [More] feel. Friendly staff as always. Wish they had more English speaking channels to fall asleep to. [Less]
