Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BUSINESS AS USUAL! Hotel rates 5 stars in all areas except food and beverage. No free breakfast buffet like the HI Express and limited selections offered by one employee. Restaurant and bar closed for lunch. Dinner menu and overall atmosphere have not been created to suit the majority of travelers. Portuguese-style entrees and live calypso music are the specialty of the house. I would suggest staying in the hotel, but eating and enjoying cocktails at one of the many private or chain restaurants in the area. Also,since all rooms have a microwave and refrigerator, I would also suggest either taking a doggie bag back to your room or having food delivered. Hotel desk personnel have an assortment of menus. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Business traveler I stayed 2 nights for business. Very friendly and professional front desk clerk at check-in. Room was in very good condition and very clean. Bed was comfortable, with excellent pillows. The room can be noisy however, for 2 reasons. My room faced into courtyard, with my window looking into interior hallway. I could easily hear people talking in the hallway. It was quiet after 10:30pm though, so it wasn't a problem. I'm not sure how noisy it would be on a weekend though. Also, the fan in the HVAC unit was loud when it turned on, enough so that it would wake a light sleeper. Other than that the room was fine. May 16, 2016

The front desk staff the next morning, Abby, was very courteous and helped us deciding where to go during the day. The room was very clean and odor-free. Housekeeping did a good job. Only con: noticed a couple of trays in front of other rooms were not picked up for over 12 hours. I would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel. May 11, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Room was fine, but not as described two issues. Asked for and reserved a King Bed and it was changed to 2 full size beds. Was told the room was non-smoking, but definitely was a smoking room in its recent past. May 4, 2016
