Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Never going to stay here again! Could not sleep in the bed at all. Coils and plywood. Could not even sleep on the couch. It felt like a futon from 1983. The restaurant was pricy, but typical of Holiday Inns. Way overpriced room, since I could get the same level of sleep in a much cheaper hotel. Staff was friendly. March 3, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Safer Hotel The location of this hotel definitely made me feel safer than the locations of others in the Odessa. The parking lot is difficult to get to coming in from the west, but coming in from the east, it is very easy. The rooms are clean, but don't count on someone being at the front desk, or if they are, they don't say anything when you walk by. The temperature in the rooms fluctuates since the wall thermostat is not hooked up. The temperature relies on a Hot/Cold dial on the window unit that does not indicate the temperature at all. I did appreciate the rooms having a refrigerator and microwave. My company is cutting costs, so I bought my food from the grocery store and having these amenities made my stay much more pleasant. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dismal service If you're thinking of using the on-site restaurant because of how busy it is elsewhere, forget it. It still takes over two hours to get anything there. Then, if you want to charge it to a credit card other than the one your room is on, they think it's a major inconvenience to use the card machine at the front desk that is less than 100 feet away. Sorry to say I've stayed there three times recently and the bathrooms in every room has signs of serious water damage on the floor and ceiling around the tub. It does not appear that done much to correct the problem other than a poorly done cosmetic repair. It makes me wonder how much aspergillus is growing in those walls. IHG should consider removing their sign from that property. February 18, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by poor service Was given a smoking room (did not know holiday inn still offered smoking rooms) made clerk give me a non smoking room. Non smoking room had a non working tv (I was staying all week) moved to a room with a working tv. arrived at room on the second evening and key did not work, had to go back down stairs to get key re programed.
