If an organsiation of your size has experienced damage to facilties especially in the bathroom area this is a must that it is repaired and brought up to a professional status especially in a washbasin as this area will harbour germs and bactieria. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Worst hotel experience I can remember! From check-in to check-out this hotel was a running joke between myself and my colleague. Check-in began by my being told that I was not allowed internet access (even though I was willing to pay for it) because I was not a rewards member. Managed to sort that the next day. Breakfast times generally went okay, but service at dinner time was terrible. Too many issues to mention them all, but examples include one time when they took our orders then served my colleague with his meal and sides - and also gave him my sides too! When asked, my order had somehow been lost and they just thought he was hungry. To compensate, they knocked the price of a drink and some chips from his bill! Waiting for food and drink orders became the norm - once we even walked up to the bar where our drinks had sat for 20 minutes and got them ourselves. July 2, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Poor value This hotel is some where between an Express and a full service hotel in that the rooms are Express standard but it has a full restaurant service.During my 2 night stay one of the lifts was out of order for the entire length. Management for some reason didn't think the bar would be busy for an England World Cup game so only allocated one poor girl to look after the area. The quantity of coffee and milk provided in the room was a lottery. And the tariff wasn't inexpensive! June 30, 2014

Lauren S Claire on reception Lauren B Charlotte Joel The other bar lads Louisa I'm sorry I forget all the names, but all the staff that dealt with me were fab! Would recommend staying on the strength of the staff! Hotel itself was ok, pretty much what you expect, and the WiFi will be free in July if their plans go ahead. That would have made my stay even better if I had proper internet access, but had to rely on my phone for internet. The only moan I had which what amounts to 60 seconds of my life wasted each time, was turning the TV on to watch, you have to wait for the menu system to load then you could press a channel button to watch TV. It would be better if you could just go straight to TV watching without menu systems. I did like the menu system however as you could see your bill charges real-time during your stay. The only other grip about the TV is the menu guide would not always populate the programs that were on so you had to pretend you had time warped back to the 80's and flick through each channel separately to see what was on....I just wish I could have time warped for real, then I'd be a millionaire!! Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Very Poor Having stayed at numerous holiday inns, this was very poor. Dinner was the biggest joke, tables not being available despite being booked. Two hours to eat a two course meal. Messed up orders. Half an hour to deliver drinks. Check in was done was a trainee who didn't register my membership card (despite saying they had) so they attempted to charge me for internet. They also tried to charge me on exit for meals that I hadn't had. June 24, 2014
