Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Room comfortable but food service terrible This is my second week at this holiday inn, room was comfortable, reception staff were polite and friendly. But biggest turn off is the food service. No restuarants near hotel near option is the hotel restaurant. But when ordering room service... Food is either delivered very late or either forgotten. It's happened not one time but twice until now. Don't want to go hungry for breakfast and dinner in future. I have to now rethink on staying at this hotel for coming months. And for this hotel size.. There is no gym .... Can't believe.. October 6, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Attentive staff and great room From the initial staff greeting, a comfortable, clean room with all the amenities required including wireless internet and good breakfast meant that my stay at the hotel was relaxing and stress free. There was plenty of parking and the location was great. Even arriving in the wee small hours I was able to relax at the bar to unwind after a long journey. I would highly recommend this hotel. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by A Holiday Inn Express in Disguise Unfortunately this hotel does not resemble the modern Holiday Inn, once you have experienced staying in places like the Holiday Inn in Liverpool City. The breakfast experience is very poor, and there are no leisure facilities for this size of hotel. Either become a Holiday Inn Express, or step up to the 21st century. September 30, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Could do better for guests We stayed at this hotel for a visit to Manchester. Check was efficient. The room furniture was average, slightly dated, but nothing to be concerned about, however, there was wallpaper ripped off the wall under the window and a very loose radiator on the wall which could be an issue. The bathroom had just been refurbished and to a high level of workmanship which was good, but unfortunately there was nowhere to hang towels or put toiletries whilst having a shower, and it was a shame that the bathroom had been tackled but not the decoration of the room. However, the biggest issue I had with this stay was: We got to the hotel at 11pm after a night out only to be greeted by a rowdy 30th birthday party going on in the bar which meant we felt we couldn't have a quiet drink in the bar, so we went to bed. Unfortunately, the noise from the music reverberated up to the 3rd floor making sleep impossible. We rang down to complain and was told it would finish at midnight. It finally stopped at 12.20am but by this time, we were wide awake and struggled to go to sleep. There was no apology next morning when I mentioned it again to the receptionist which showed to me that they didn't care. Also, be careful when you are offered a morning paper at check in as they charge you for it at check out. September 30, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Check your disabled provision Warrington has some of the best staff around but as in many HIs my grip is the disabled accommodation. Not every disabled person is cared for by someone they wish to share a double bed with. Very few HI express have twin disabled rooms but hotels never seem to have. We simply cannot afford to book 2 rooms so have to spend an uncomfortable night when travelling and this is our only option. I am a priority club member and like the HI brand for every thing else. What can you suggest or do about this? September 30, 2015
