First, the hotel was under construction which we were not warned about, which led to customers having to use the freight elevator and having nowhere to park to use the valet service. Second, we had hot water issues our entire stay in the hotel. Our shower would never get hot and would periodically shoot freezing cold water out at us. We had people come out twice to check on it and it was never repaired. The second time ,the front desk clerk who we brought it up to had completely forgotten our request by the time we returned to the hotel 7 hours later and did not seem to care enough to find out of it had been fixed. The last day, we were woken at 5:30am by a loud machine going off that didn't stop for over half an hour. When checking out, we told the front desk clerk that our stay was only alright and he didn't seem to care at all or ask what they could have done better. I had to ask for a receipt instead of being offered one and he ended up handing us the receipt and then ignoring us to talk to a coworker. Just not great service and not what I expect from this chain.

Both days the ladies at the front desk were excellent! Very polite and knew their stuff. Even with the construction going on and the small area they had to work. EXCELLENT!!

Walking distance to many downtown attractions and very nice rooms and fitness center. Staff was very attentive and prompt in response to any needs. Would stay again next time I'm in Denver
