The stay was great although the fitness center was very small. The pool was nice and a great temperature.

When making my reservation, the person I spoke to went out of his way to make sure I got the best rate available. He was so friendly and knew his work. I knew from making my reservation that I picked the right hotel.

I was disappointed by how I was treated at check in by a young woman employee. My Spire elite card is under my husbands name and he was not with me so even though I showed her my spire elite card and my Holiday Inn credit card she told me it really needed to have my name on it due to fraud. Im not sure what would happen in a case of fraud, someone pay for and use my hotel room? Anyhow she then went on to scan my card once and say it was declined and I had to use a different form of payment. I told her to try again because I get points on this card for the stay she refused, I used a different form of payment. I then went to my room and called and there was nothing wrong with my card. I went back to the desk and made her change it from one card to the other. She never apologized just said they have a lot of problems with their card reader. She never recognized us for being Spire Elite members and we were not given any extas at check in as usual. The whole thing upset me as I was paying for 2 nights stay. It was also noisy during the stay and the air conditioning did not work well, couldn't sleep. We always stay at Holiday Inns but will not stay at this one again.
