The Lansing Lugnuts are a Class A minor league baseball team, affiliated with the Toronto Blue Jays, that plays in the Midwest League.

A dynamic, interactive space for families to play,create and challenge their understanding of science. Hands on exhibits include bubbles, throwing things, build zone and many more.

Located in the architecturally inspiring Michigan Library and Historical Center, the Library of Michigan is your premier resource for research material on the state of Michigan. Peruse history through hundreds of Michigan newspapers, trace government action via state and federal government documents, review ligislation in the Law Library's collection or watch communities change via an extensive map collection.

The Michigan Historical Museum surrounds visitors with Michigan history from prehistoric times through the late twentieth century. Exhibits include a three story Michigan relief map, a copper mine, one room schoolhouse and more. The State Archives of Michigan is also located in the architecturally inspiring Michigan Library and Historical Center complex.

A hands on gallery designed to help visitors understand the judicial branch of state government. Designed for all ages. Groups of 10 or more should call ahead for guided tours. Walk in visitors welcome. Located inside the Hall of Justice.

Located on the sidewalks of Washington Square in downtown Lansing, the Michigan Walk of Fame honors the ingenuity and resourcefulness of Michigan residents past and present whose contributions have made a significant impact on the state, nation or world. Just a short walk to the State Capitol building, downtown restaurants, retail stores and museums.

The only museum in the state dedicated to women's history, the Michigan Women's Museum features a Hall of Fame with over 260 Michigan women honorees, history exhibits, the Belen Gallery displaying Michigan women artists and a fair trade gift shop with jewelry, unique gifts, Suffragist Low Sugar Preserves and Sassy Women's Salsa.

A Native American cultural learning center that focuses on the Three Fires People of Michigan, the Ojibwa, Ottawa and Potawatomie tribes. Featuring an art gallery, gift shop, a medicine garden and hands on exhibits in our classroom. Near the Meridian Historical Village in Central Park.

Michigan's oldest zoo, established in 1920, is home to nearly 600 animals, many of them critically endangered. The zoo offers seasonal camel, train and pony rides, a gift shop, concession stands and multiple interactive exhibits. Nested in an oak forest, the zoo is a relaxing stroll that can be completed in two hours.

This collection of cars and memorabilia is a tribute to the auto industry, courtesy of one of Lansing's most prominent citizens, Ramsom Eli Olds. The very first Oldsmobile, built in 1897, is on display along with antique REOs, Stars, automotive advertising and memorabilia. The gift shop has diverse auto related items.

Located in the shadow of the Meridian Mall, the Meridian Historical Village provides a slice of 19th century settler life. The Village contains seven historical buildings: a one room schoolhouse, farmhouse and barn, general store, inn, 19th century Okemos church, log cabin and a tollgate house from the plank road era.

Erected and dedicated in 2001, this monument is a powerful tribute to the 2,651 Michigan casualties who died during the Vietnam War. Over 40,000 men and women of the state serve our country in this war. This memorial is a 120 foot long graceful steel arc that is suspended three feet above the ground.

Step back to the Victorian era with a visit to Michigan's award winning Capitol building. Designed by Elijah E. Myers, one of the foremost architects of public buildings, construction of the Capitol building took six years and contains over nine acres of hand painted surfaces. Tours of public areas and House and Senate galleries are available every half hour.

Family fun on the farm at the only cider mill in mid-Michigan that lets you pick your own apples and pumpkins. Enjoy the Orchard Express Train, haunted cider mill, hayrides, petting zoo, corn maze, gift area, winery and bakery. Special events include the Michigan Apple Festival and Pumpkin Carrying Contest. During the fall season enjoy tractor drawn wagon rides, trail rides, an operating cider mill, pumpkin patch, corn maze, fruit fling, inflatables, jumping pillow and special weekend events.

Enjoy an old-fashioned riverboat cruise on the big paddle-wheeler of the Grand River. The Michigan Princess has three levels, with oak staircases and crystal chandeliers. Featured themes include murder mystery theatre and musical entertainment. The Michigan Princess riverboat can also be chartered for groups or special events. Call for reservations.

Lansing Metro Marinas provides riverboat tours, private cruises and taxi services on the Grand River. The pontoon boat rides let you experience all of the new vibrant down Lansing developments and natural surroundings from the water's view. Seasonal hours, weather and river conditions permitting.

The W.J. Beal Botanical Garden, founded in 1873, is the oldest continuously-operated garden of this type in the United States. It includes over 2,700 species organized in economic, systematic, landscapte and ecological groupings.

The Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum, a Zaha Hadid-designed contemporary art museum at MSU, is dedicated to exploring global contemporary culture and ideas through art. The museum presents groundbreaking, international contemporary art across all media and thematic exhibitions that investigate contemporary works within a historical context.

Colts racing, beef calves frolicking and mooing dairy dows waiting to be milked are a few of the memorable sights to see when visiting the MSU Farms. See beef cattle, dairy cattle, horses, poultry and sheep. Allow approximately 30 minutes for each farm.
