we arrived at 3 she checked us in only thing she spoke to us was name and credit card then asked how many cards we needed. We went upstairs our room was open there were workers in hall ways we asked if they were done with out room it smelled really stale they told us they had to run air machine's in it? So we put our stuff right by door and left. We drove around town went to Walmart and picked up food. Our children 1 and 3 were very cranky from traveling and being in the car. We went up to out room right before 6. The machine were still in our room and smelled horrible. The floors were wet that's is what the machine's were for. We went down stairs and feed them in the dining area. Went to front desk to get another room other guests were saying the night before they had a storm come through and rain came up through the a/c. We were behind some people trying to get a room and they were all booked. I got on the phone called 2other hotels and all were booked because we were going to leave. The lady at front desk was busy with the others a lady next to her which was over housekeeping asked what we needed I said our room still has the machines in the rooms she said they would have then removed. We didn't have a choice but stay with no other rooms anywhere. Not once did they apologize or even tell us what the problem was they didn't even try to spray and cover the smell. The floor was wet so we tried as best as possible to keep our little ones off including toys. Worst experience I've ever had. Very upset because I know the great quality of the holiday Inn chains. I know that the act of weather cannot be helped but the way it was handled was wrong.

I stayed at this location for a business trip and was thoroughly disappointed with my experience. I have stayed at many Holiday Inn Express' on my travels and know what to expect (I seek out IHG for business trips). This location unfortunately falls short. First, after arriving I was held up during the check-in process for approximately 30 minutes by the front-desk manager who gave little consideration into timeliness of getting me checked in and letting me on my way. After check-in, I was met with a dingy warmth of the 2nd floor which I was located and did not eventually subside. Lastly, my room did not have hot water in the shower. Too late to want to deal with maintenance, I called the front-desk to see if another room was available. The front-desk clerk (female and not the same as who checked me in) was apologetic for there being no other rooms, took my number, and stated the manager would call me the next day due to my experience. I still have yet to receive a call from Holiday Inn Express Pearland for this disastrous stay.

We recently stayed here for a weekend while attending a dance competition at a nearby venue. The hotel staff here were all very friendly and helpful, the hotel is very nice, my daughter loved the breakfast they offered, and the room was in good condition.

Stayed in Room 124. Exercise room next door is very loud.
Room only had one set of towels. No hand towels.
Bed is under comfortable.
Overall not a good stay.

Holiday inn express is a nice hotel, kind of old but is in a very convinient location to go any where in Houston. Their staff is very friendly and knoledgeable. The hotel room we used was very clean and comfortable, I recomend it to any one, specially if you want piece and quiet after a long flight and want to be close to Hobby airport.
