The rooms are outdated and in need of a refresh, but the staff was friendly and helpful. This was fine for a rewards night after a late night arrival flight.

After driving for about 500 miles that day I called the hotel and asked if they had any more rooms available for myself and a co-worker. Without hesitation the girl at the front desk answered , " I will be happy to look for you " Within seconds she answered with yes and was booking me two rooms for the night. I gave her my membership number, she confirmed my name and it was done, I had my rooms. I told her that I still had a few hours to drive and she said she looked forward to seeing me.
When I arrived the friendliness and professionalism continued . I had my room already for me and was given a welcome treat bag because I was a member. The girl at the front desk directed me to a local restaurant that was next door at their sister hotel and after a great meal retreated to my awesome room , which I was looking forward to and was not disappointed in any way.
In the morning , after a great breakfast I checked out and without any delay , I was on my way.
When I am in the Richmond VA area again , I will make this Hotel and must stop.

Wanted to thank Jerri L. for our wonderful experience. Jerry checked to make sure my reservation was put in correctly being I booked threw IHG. When I arrived she knew who I was and began immediately processing my arrival. She was a pleasure to talk with and a pleasure to meet. Jerri would be the reason I would return to the hotel. From my husband and myself thank you for your kindness.

I was in town for the Richmond Marathon and I stayed at this hotel. Great stay, nice location, worth the money.

The hotel staff/front desk were very friendly and helpful. However the lady working the breakfast facilities was in an extremely bad mood. Everyone can have a bad day, but I did not see this lady smile the whole three days of my visit. She was terse at times and gave me the impression that she just didn't want to be there, period!
The rest of the staff was helpful and friendly and seem to enjoy helping people. I will stay here if my travels bring be back to Virginia.
