For Copenhagen hotels close to the airport and within easy reach of the city centre’s attractions, look no further. We have a hotel at the airport located just 100m from Oerestad railway and subway station, from where you can get direct services right into the heart of the city.
This subway station is just 8 minutes from Stroeget, a popular shopping street with a number of designer brand stores. The setting is beautiful too and, being completely pedestrianised, is a great place for a stroll. This isn’t the only place to shop in the city, of course. There is also the Amager Centre, Field’s Shopping Centre and the Illum Department Store. That list isn’t exhaustive either.
There are more than 50 museums in Copenhagen. You may not be able to get around them all, but highlights definitely include the National Museum, the Museum of the Danish Resistance and the National Gallery of Denmark.
Copenhagen is also home to one of the oldest zoos in Europe, a zoo that opens its doors to well over a million visitors a year. This is a superb family friendly attraction.
We can’t possibly mention Copenhagen without discussing its beautiful architecture. The city is home to Rosenborg Castle, Christiansborg Palace, Grundtvig Church and Amalienborg to name just a few of the architectural marvels in the Danish capital.
As the capital city, Copenhagen is well connected to the rest of Denmark. Within the city itself, there are excellent transport links getting the locals and tourists around. You can fly into Copenhagen directly from Glasgow, London, Manchester and Liverpool amongst other UK cities.
So pack a bag and head to our well-located Copenhagen hotel. Whether it’s a quick stopover a head of a flight or you’re sticking around to enjoy the city for a few days, we’re in a great spot!
