Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by I liked the staff, I can't stand the pillow Like several other hotel brands, I don't understand your choice of small pillows: If I am one person and have two (or four) small pillows and I put the pillows side-by-side then, I cant sleep in the middle of the bed - between the pillows! If I am one person and have two small pillows, and I put them one on top of the other, then I can't roll-over because there will be no pillow there ! Why don't you use one (or two) pillows that are the width, or close to the width) of the bed? That is what I have at home and I sleep much better than at your hotels! I guess it's because using a bunch of small pillows looks good? Anyway the staff did an excellent job, and the rest of the hotel was well maintained. February 5, 2016

The breakfast was a typical buffet with a variety of options. I would definitely stay here again. February 4, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Maintenance We love staying at this particular HI Express when we are in Austin for school business. However, this last stay was an experience I would not wish on anyone. Upon arrival we checked into our room, left a few items (including my medication), and went to get something to eat. When we returned, we could not get back into the room. The office couldn't get us back into the room and a maintenance man had to be called to use an under-the-door wire to finally get us into our room almost 2 hours later. 10:00 PM was not my thrill to finally get my medication and get ready for bed for a day's meeting. The sad part is we were offered NO compensation for our inconvenience. Needless to say, our next 3 day work stay in Austin, we will be staying elsewhere. February 2, 2016

It was conveniently located, well maintained, and the staff was very accommodating. Cleanliness is my main concern at any hotel, and this location exceeded my expectations. February 2, 2016
