Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nothing special My biggest issue was... we arrived early (11 a.m) and stopped by to see if we could check in early. As soon as I walked into the lobby, I noticed a young man sitting on top of the front desk (yes on top of the front desk) socializing with your young blonde front desk person. It was a huge turn off and looked very unprofessional. I am a businessman and I would not have tolerated this type of conduct. Secondly, your hallway carpets need shampooing very badly. July 30, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable, clean and friendly I found Holiday Inn Express in Cheney to be very comfortable and clean. The staff was cheerful, friendly and very helpful. The room was spacious, clean and the beds/pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and they had a variety of entrees to choose. I have stayed at this hotel twice and both times have had a wonderful stay. July 30, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pool This was a very nice hotel--and pretty much the only one in town. It's very close to Spokane. Seems like this area would be able to utilize an outdoor pool. The indoor pool area was quite small and a little warm in the Summer time when we were there. July 29, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Will stay again! The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. I stayed for 4 nights and had absolutely no complaints. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we needed to check in early and they allowed us to store our luggage as our rooms were not available (we were early). Location is nice close to shopping and eating and to EWU. I will definitely stay here again. July 20, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Somewhat disappointed Overall it is a great hotel, with great customer service. The fact that we did not have a couch / pullout bed and then charged extra for a cot when we had unexpected company made me feel unwelcome. Also with early reservations for a 10 day stay the rate fluctuated by more than double for weekend days, this is not acceptable. We had to change rooms because we were placed in the (wrong room originally) 2 days in, the staff was very nice and helpfull. There was a $50 error on the bill that I mentioned at checkout wich was corrected easily. Housekeeping was very good - if you were out of the room when they came at 8am, if not - no towels etc. Such small details would have made it a very enjoyable stay. Somewhat dissapointed. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly Staff When I called to book the room over the phone, the lady I spoke with was very nice and polite. I did not think it would be that way when I checked into the hotel. I was wrong. I have never had such great staff service from a hotel before. It was my first time in Cheny for my daughters Eastern university orientation and it was well worth it. I will be staying here every time I am there to visit my daughter in college. July 14, 2015
