The room and staff are top shelf. I was worried I would hear the trains going by at night. Never heard a sound.
The pool was excellent, the beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent

Nice hotel but overpriced considering the location
Front desk automatically assigned me to a 1st floor room. Asked for a higher one and got 2nd floor
Breakfast is standard

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 My Cousin Viny Would Feel Right At Home
The train goes right by the place pretty regular and it's hard to miss.
The only other negative was the very strong deodorant smell in the room from whatever source - we had to open the window and the hall door all of the first day and night to clear it. We ask not to have the room cleaned in day two so it wasn't too bad.
That part shouldn't have happened since when we booked the room the whole conversation about allergies was had and we were assured "no pets" "no smoking" "no down" "no feather", etc. It would seem to go without saying the air freshener/deodorant should be tamed down.
And train was a surprise, but we liked the movie so much we laughed every time it went by:-)

WE NOTICED THE COFFEE POT BREWER WAS NOT WORKING. WE REPORTED IT TO THE MAIN DESK, NOTING THAT THEY DID NOT NEED TO REPLACE IT, BUT WE WERE JUST REPORTING IT BEFORE THE NEXT GUESTS ARRIVED. STAFF FOLLOWED UP, AND WE REPEATED THE SITUATION. THE PERSON THANKED US....
