Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Room and night staff uninviting The girl at the front desk was less than friendly and not accommodating upon check-in. Our room smelled of stale cigarette smoke, and had large yellow/brown stains on the ceiling in a couple areas. Rust was also noted around the tub overflow. Beds were comfortable and the breakfast was decent. I was hoping for a much better experience as we've had at other Holiday Inn Express hotels. March 23, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Not Spectacular The property and rooms look very nice and up to date, the staff was very nice and helpful. The only problem we had with this was the in room noise level. Stayed on the second floor, west end and could hear everything all night. Bathroom noises, people walking around, and phone conversations could all be easily and loudly heard while trying to sleep. Was not a good representative for the, "I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express" ad campaign. Did not sleep a wink, and these rooms are too pricey not to be able to sleep. March 18, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Maintenance not up to par A section of the bathroom wall next to the tub needs attention. The wall covering probably got wet, and peeled off. It has deteriorated to the point that the sheetrock is coming off. Not a fresh problem; it looks like it's been deteriorating for some time. Has just been ignored. If not repaired, will continue to deteriorate and may become a larger repair. I don't like to see hotel rooms, esp. bathrooms in deteriorating condition. Maintenance staff needs to take care of these issues promptly. Also, toilet seat was loose. Cleaning staff should notify maintenance staff about these issues. March 16, 2015
