Bed was pretty hard for my comfort level. We had trouble with the thermostat because it would get hot in the room, then the air would kick on and it would be freezing. So it went to extremes.
My kids really enjoyed the pool

We used this room for my daughter’s Aunt, it was close by to our room as requested, Joel was able to help us out and get us in early! The room was clean and comfortable!

We have stayed at this property a few times now, usually it’s just my husband and I, but this time we brought our 2 girls since our baby had just turned 1 and you are so close to the aquarium and shops for our older daughter. I had gone to the front desk to ask about a rate change to the member rate, I had worked for IHG/Kimpton as a FOM for many years before deciding to become a stay at home mom after having my second child, so I’m well aware of the system and that each property follows different processes, however when I booked these rooms we were sure of our plans so I booked one without a deposit, by the time we were sure we were locked in, the only thing available was a standard room, meaning I was taking a chance of ending up in rooms with out 2 queens or a king with a pull out sofa, and we needed both rooms to have one or the other. I explained the situation to rose at the front desk and she was extremely unhelpful and hardly made eye contact with me, she was more interested in getting me to go away so she could go back to using her phone. I found this extremely rude, and disrespectful, given the amount of money we were paying to stay with you. And then 15 minutes after this interaction the power went out leaving my husband to shower in the dark, and trying to get the kids settled with hardly any light. I understand situation happen again I was in hospitality for a long time, but clearly rose was overwhelmed and with my interaction with her before I knew it would be useless to speak with her on if it was a town wide issues or an isolated incident. I do want to mention Joel was fantastic, and the lady who checked us out, I unfortunately didn’t catch her name or the lady at breakfast each morning they were both very kind and patient with my very sociable baby. As I said we have stayed with you many times, and we will back back since the aquarium is so close and we have children. The rooms are always clean and the staff is always friendly and well trained!

This hotel was so wonderful. It was beautiful and comfortable. There was a very nice lady, Rose, she helped us whenever we needed it and was happy to be helping. She was so kind! 10/10 service Rose should get a raise!

No hot tub. No gym. Pool has 4 chairs in big room. Pool towels are tiny. Registered 4 guest to stay but only get 3 towels in room. Will not stay at this location again.

If you're visiting the Mystic area, especially the village and aquarium, you can't beat the location. With complimentary full breakfast and an indoor pool for the kids, it's always a hit with the family, especially when the weather isn't warm enough for an outdoor pool. Staff was nice, rooms were clean, and will definitely stay here again when visiting the area.
Bed was comfortable and king bed had king pillows

We came back to the hotel because of a previous positive experience and this time did not disappoint. We will definitely be back here on our next trip to mystic

Stayed there with my fiancé and our 3 kids and we loved it! The room was clean, big enough for all 5 of us, and we had everything we needed. If I had to say one negative thing, the people above us had a child that ran back and forth at night and in the morning so it was a little loud, but that has nothing to do with the hotel. Pool was great for the kids. All of us LOVED the continental breakfast and looked forward to it every morning. Location was perfect, right across the street from the shops and aquarium and only 15 minutes from Foxwoods. We will definitely stay there again.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The hotel is always a great value and a pleasant stay. This is a great getaway with so many options of what to do. The rooms are clean and comfortable.
