From the moment I arrived I was treated so well. I was tired from all day traveling and wanted a good meal followed by a quiet undisturbed sleep. The concierge found my family a great korean restaurant and asked the shuttle to take us there. After, My room was pleasant ,very clean and quiet. They provided complimentary essential oils that really added to a good night sleep. The shuttle to and from the airport was quick and provided a comfortable ride. Well worth the stay and yes I would stay there again.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JSB1617 Great Hotel!!!!
I will alway stay at the Crown Plaza in Portland, Ziggy and his staff are first class!!
The hotel is centrally located to all the downtown needs for business and entertainment.
The rooms are great, they are very roomy and have awesome accommodations.
The restaurant and bar have great food and drinks, the pool and hot tub is a great way to relax after a busy day,
The entire staff and hotel are very warm and friendly, I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Thanks Crown Plaza staff and I will see you soon!!

This is my first time staying at this hotel, and overall, was happy with my visit. It claims to be downtown, but in fact, is across the river from downtown by the convention center. They do have a shuttle that will take you to the airport and within 5 miles, which was very convenient. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable.

I had a room on the second floor just above the kitchen. There was a great deal of street noise and I had to leave the air conditioning fan running at all times to drown it out. Additionally, the room was right over the kitchen and the smell of bacon permeated the room every morning and the smell of burgers all afternoon. I attempted to switch rooms and the front desk staff was really unhelpful and said they were unable to accommodate any changes. Would not recommend this hotel.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 20thAnniversary Kind staff, comfy bed
The front desk staff was very kind and helpful. Our room was "upgraded" which meant we were switched to a top floor room. I suppose we should be grateful for that, since I am a light sleeper. All the noise from the hallways came through, and some noise from close by units. When neighbors were opening their doors, I thought someone was trying to get into our door--that is how easily sound carried. I could hear street noise (highway) all night long. I am so glad I brought my earplugs, otherwise I would not have slept at all. The curtains were good for room darkening, except there was no way to entirely block the light since the window covered the entire wall. Light seeped around the edges closest to the wall, which is, of course, where the head of the bed is located. So, if you are light sensitive, bring a mask. There is also an internal sound to the room like water running or electronic hum. Again, the earplugs were needed. In the room we had, there were 2 queen beds. The bathroom was closet size. The coffee service was in an alcove next to the bathroom so you could get water--but with 4 people trying to shower it was hard to get into the bathroom to get water. A free standing sink would have been nice. Since you can only brew 1 cup at a time, there was a lot of turn taking going on. Plus only 2 mugs were provided for a room that sleeps 4! There was one "comfortable" chair and a desk with a desk chair. There was also an upholstered bench. None of these seats were good for TV viewing, which meant sitting on the beds without back support. The selection of movies from the front desk was limited, but as we don't watch many movies there were a few that we wanted to see. The remote didn't seem to work with the DVD player, so we had to find the right buttons to push on the machine--but there weren't any to toggle through the menu, so we were limited to play only--no rewind or fast forward. We had dinner in the restaurant which was lovely and not too fancy. The food was good. We swam in the pool and used the hot tub "spa" which were both good temperatures and fun for the kids. We did not use the exercise room, but it looked to be well equipped. It is a shame to have to pay for parking when one is already paying for a room. Silly idea! If you are staying there, parking should be free. From all these comments, you might think we didn't enjoy our stay. We did have a good time, since our basic reason for staying here was a good bed and a pool for the kids. I was prepared for noise and light, so was not kept up all night or awakened too early. The noise and light did not seem to bother my husband or kids who are all very good sleepers and did not need earplugs to rest. The next time, if we stay in the same hotel, we will splurge for a suite to have places to sit and easier prep of food and drinks.

I was very pleased with my stay. Room was spacious enough and clean. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Location was suitable for both arriving from out of town and hopping over to city center.
