Featured Sioux City Hotels

Plan a visit to one of our Holiday Inn® hotels in Sioux City and prepare for a leisurely weekend in the American heartland. Explore the barren bluffs of the prairie in nearby Loess Hills, bordering the Missouri River, or take a walking tour past historic storefronts in downtown Sioux City.

A stay in our Sioux City hotels delivers you to the heart of Iowa's prairieland. Discover the beauty of the Missouri River bluffs on hiking footpaths through prairie grass and wildflowers at the Dorothy Pecaut Nature Center, a preserve in the Loess Hills. Manmade entertainment is the draw at the downtown Orpheum Theatre, where internationally recognized performers and theater companies take the stage within an easy drive of our hotels in Sioux City. Just a few blocks away, you can try your hand at games of chance at the Argosy Riverboat Casino, on the Missouri riverfront.

Make the short drive from our Sioux City hotels to the attractive Fourth Street Historic District downtown. Pick up a free self-guided map and take a walking tour of the historic commercial strip along Fourth Street. Behind 19th-century redbrick storefronts lie a collection of bistros, pubs and antique shops. From our hotels in Sioux City, it's easy to check out Fourth Street's friendly, family-owned restaurants, where you can order up a home-cooked meal of locally grown fruits and vegetables, spice-rubbed ribs or slow-roasted pork. Finish your Sioux City dinner with a dish of Blue Bunny ice cream-made just up the road in the small town of Lamar.

Book a room in our Holiday Inn hotels in Sioux City in spring, when the nearby Loess Hills bloom with purple coneflowers and prairie birdsong fills the air, or in autumn, when the new concert season begins at the Orpheum Theatre.

Enjoyed our visit immensely. The pool and hot tub were awesome. My husband wants to buy one of your beds. Only wish my puppy could have come with me. [Less]

Suprisingly nice stay.

I did not expect a lot out of this hotel, given the brand and location. And driving up to the hotel, although clean and new in appearance, was about what I expected- rather plain and unexciting. I [More] was very surprised by the interior. Modern, up to date, CLEAN, with a very pleasant staff. The room was superior to what I expected. Well appointed, large, comfortable, clean. Breakfast had a reasonable selection, food was quite good. My one disappointment was the inner spring bed, which was not uniformly firm, and had the classic ridge down the center from the split box spring. Two firmness' of pillows was a nice touch. Upgrade the mattresses to memory foam, and this room would rival resort accommodations in comfort. I will certainly stay at this hotel the next time I am in the area. [Less]

Nice property but highly overpriced. I stay over 200 nights a year in motels in some of the largest markets in Western United States and this property in nice but to expensive for my budget way more [More] than other areas. [Less]

This is a nice play to stay. Clean rooms, breakfast was fresh, and the employees were nice. The young lady that checked me in was fun to interact with. No issues here. Good job! [Less]
