We stayed in room 613. The room was big enough for a family with little kid. The receptionist arranged one more double bed for my kid. Both double beds were very comfortable. What surprised us were[More]
the two skylights windows. We were excited about looking at the sky through skylights. It was Easter. The hotel prepared Easter eggs and chocolates for guests, especially kids. My kid was very happy on that. One receptionist was nice and patient. We made error when inputting the number of guest. She patiently explained to us the charge was different if we put the wrong number. Later, she was very nice to help us to store our luggage while room was not ready, without discriminating us because of our misunderstanding on Europe practice. The hotel provided computer and printer free of charge which was very helpful for travelers when they were in urgent needs.
There was one regret. The other receptionist was not quite answer the regular taxi charge from the train station Wien HBF to the hotel. We told him that we suspected the taxi driver drove non-direct route and tried to cheat us. The receptionist said he was not familiar with the route and there were many one-way streets. The taxi drive tried to charge us Euro 16. We argued why he took the route with far more distance as on the map. The driver finally charged us Euro 10. If he did right, he would not easily charge us less. On our return trip from the hotel to Wien HBF, the taxi meter charged us Euro 11 with luggage charge already. [Less]
