We were making use of our Free Weekend Night Certificate combined with some reward points to enjoy a weekend away. We chose Vienna. We couldn't get the weekend we wanted because of the Eurovision[More]
event. Nevertheless we went ahead and enjoyed a lovely hotel and city on a bright spring weekend. We managed to fit in the Spanish Riding School, Hofburg Palace with the Imperial Apartments, Silver Collection, Treasuries, Schloss Schonbrunn including the Carriage collection, Stephansdom, a visit to a concert with the best seats in the house thanks to our Concierge, a short trip to see the Danube and walks in Stadtpark. We saw but didn't get to see the interior of the Musikverein. The city was buzzing just a week away from the Eurovision Song Contest! Very enjoyable. [Less]
