Step into the fairy tale city of Prague with our selection of Prague hotels near the historic city center, airport, or Prague Congress Center.
The jewel of the Vltava River, Prague is the capital and principal city of the Czech Republic. Its city streets have seen many phases of history, having once acted as the seat of Bohemian kings and two Holy Roman Emperors. The city has also experienced its fair share of tumult from Protestant Reformation to 1989’s Velvet Revolution. No longer occupied by foreign governments, Prague continues to blossom and draw visitors.
Prague is rich in architectural treasures, chief among them the Charles Bridge, where dramatic statues preside over passerby. Built on a promontory, Prague Castle and St. Vitus Cathedral loom over the cityscape, while across the river, Old Town contains the original town square, famed astronomical clock, medieval churches, and an enchanting patchwork of architectural styles in elegant sherbet shades. Also an important center for European Jewish culture, Prague’s Josefov sector contains the Old New Synagogue - one of the two oldest active synagogues on the continent - and the fascinating Old Jewish Cemetery, where thousands of Jewish citizens of the city were buried.
Kick back with a Czech-style pilsner at one of the open air - or below street-level - cafes before enjoying the wealth of Prague’s arts and culture. From the Estates Theatre, where a Mozart opera once premiered, to one of the many musical and literary festivals that take place each year, Prague nurtures artistic endeavors of all kinds. Its many excellent museums, including the National Museum and Museum of Decorative Arts, are also wonderful places to lose yourself for an afternoon.
The unique shopping scene will whisk you away, too, especially at cheerful Wenceslas Square in the New Town. The shops near the castle and the Old Town Square specialize in local crystal and art, while Parizska Street features luxury goods and up-to-the-minute trends.

The room was spotlessly clean and had all facilities required for an airport hotel, including comfortable bed.
I think there should be clear signage at Arrivals indicating how to contact the hotel -[More]
there was not. As I arrived at midnight, this caused difficulties - I set off on foot thinking the hotel was a walk away but it was not - I therefore returned to the airport and eventually found someone who could help me and was able to call the hotel to request a pick-up - after calling, the minivan driver arrived within ten minutes and was very polite and helpful but believe this should have been much easier to accomplish [Less]
