I stay regularly at this hotel. The staff are attentive and helpful (thanks Ivan, Camille, Hannah and Abdel). The hotel manager, Khaled, is personable and goes out of his way to greet you and check
that all is well.
Rooms are quiet and comfortable and if there are any problems, (ie, a light out) they are quickly recitifed. The business lounge is excellent and we are always well looked after.
The breakfast service is still the lowest point of the stay. Breakfast starts at 6am, but if you go before 7am, there is very little service. Sometimes there are staff at the cash register or in the kitchen but it is rare for someone to be on the floor and ask if you want coffee. There is no atmosphere at all at breakfast - no music to cover the sharp sounds of kitchen/breakfast preparation and chairs scraping. From 7am things improve with more staff who provide greater attention and the ambience improves slightly.
The hotel food is excellent - from breakfast through to the outstanding Cho Gao restaurant. [Less]
