Guests staying at our Crowne Plaza San Diego Mission Valley will love spending a day at the world-renowned San Diego Zoo. Next to the zoo is Balboa Park. Known as The Jewel of San Diego, this 1200 acre San Diego institution is home to 17 museums that include Fleet Science Center and San Diego Air and Space Museum. Just down the street from the Crowne Plaza is the upscale Fashion Valley Mall.

Beautiful Ocean Beach is just minutes away from the Crowne Plaza San Diego Mission Valley. Bask in the sun that makes San Diego famous. Don't forget a trip to the San Diego Zoo. Take the guided bus tour when you get there and scout out the areas where you would like to spend more time. Everyone loves the Polar Bear Plunge and the various Keeper Talks about animals such as Koalas and Rhinos.

San Diego Zoo is the nation’s premier zoo featuring over 3,700 animals and 650 species. Early Morning with Pandas is a fantastic experience.

Don't Go Home Without

A trip to the Seaport Village shopping center is a must to experience while in San Diego. Just 10 minutes from the Crowne Plaza San Diego Mission Valley. Next door is the aircraft carrier USS Midway. Now a museum, it is San Diego's #1 attraction. Take the self-guided walking tour to see what life on the sea was like for our brave sailors. The Midway also features 29 restored aircraft.
