Excellent service!
By Royalpalmcr
Very clean and helpful! The front desk was very helpful with our rental car company and helped getting it organized . We travelled with children and they were very friendly and nice company to stay [More] at. [Less]
Airport convenience, but internet problems
By Suzanne77
The Holiday Inn Express near the San Jose airport is convenient to airport travel, which is probably it's best feature - someone else drives in the crazy Costa Rica traffic, and the shuttle runs [More] regularly 24/7 to the airport for those with complicated schedules and multiple fliers, like we had. The internet was not working during our first stay, and this was a significant problem as we were reliant upon wireless, rather than cell phones, during our travels. It was ironic that the worst internet service we experienced during our entire travels in Costa Rica, was at the airport Holiday Inn Express. [Less]
Last stop before returning home
By Traveller
A very nice hotel that is well maintained with quality staff. Convenient to the airport (5 minutes away with free shuttle service every 15 minutes). We stay at the hotel 4-5 times a year. We had a [More] problem with a very noisy AC unit. The issue was resolved by staff to our satisfaction. Would definitely recommend the hotel to others. [Less]
Good hotel but had issues with AC and Iron

Best Hotel In San Jose
By ccust12
This Hotel is seriously the best one in San Jose. It offers great staff, excellent service, all the necessary amenities, and is centrally located close to just about everything. It is super secure, [More] very clean and modernized. The cost is much better than other Hotels at the same or higher star rating in the San Jose area. [Less]
Amiable stay, very well served

Installations are old alright, but they totally make up for it with such an excellent staff. Restaurant, bar, breakfast staff... all great. I totally recommend. [Less]
Good value for money
By ST4822
Room was comfortable but it had a door to the neighbor room inside, so you could hear your neighbors. There was always dust in the wardrobe which was never cleaned. Tea and coffee in the kitchenette [More] were not refilled everyday.Breakfast was good, but tables and chairs were not very clean. You should be careful with big black coffee cups, as some of them had cracks and coffee was leaking out of them. The majority of the stuff was friendly, but you could not always feel like being a valuable guest for them. Good value for money. The room had a separate bedroom and it was quiet, so you could not hear morning birds, about which other guests were usually complaining. I had early morning checkout and there were sudden problems with electricity supply in the hotel on that day, which was quite disturbing during the morning grooming routine. [Less]
