The room was clean and well furnished, staff were friendly and helpful, parking was adequate. I have no complaints at all except the lack of free breakfast. March 31, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by unexpected dining experience My son and I were visiting a college in Bangor. A six hour ride in the car. Since I am an IHG member I was looking for a hotel in the area. Right off the exit I spotted the sign. There was some construction going on and the lobby was moved. We didn't have a reservation but we were quickly accommodated with a very clean and comfortable room. I inquired if they had a restaurant because I did not want to get in the car again and they directed me to the lounge. I tried one of their specialties which was highlighted on the menu and was surprised. It was excellent. We inquired about breakfast because we wanted an early start and were directed to the room next to the lobby. After a quiet and peaceful sleep we went down to breakfast and they had the exact fuel I would need for the 6 hour journey ahead. The "Paul Bunyan". I was pleasantly surprised again. It was excellent and the wait staff were very friendly. Bangor your restaurant is a "RESTAURANT" even if it is part of the lounge. March 25, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by OK Stay Everything was good as expected. They were under renovation when we stayed. My only beef is with the accuracy of the room binder that tells you about the amenities. I only looked at the restaurant menu, so I can't rate the rest of the book. But, the menu, what comes with the meal, and prices are all off. If you know what you think you want, read the menu in the restaurant carefully. I was in a rush. I have voiced my concern and I am sure that this problem will be corrected. March 23, 2015

In the future I will ensure there is one before I book. Stayed at another hotel in the area for the same price with more perks, hot tub, great breakfast. March 23, 2015
