We stayed at the Holiday inn for one night and were very pleased. The room was very clean and spacious and the buffet breakfast was lovely, all staff were very polite and helpful.

Mis-marketing

On the web site and during booking it described beds as King size. On arrival in room it was a normal queen bed, when i spoke to reception she said its a very common complaint as the beds are “European” King. I’ve never heard of that but in all hotels I’ve ever stayed in a King is a King and a Queen is a Queen.... If you’re selling “European” kings they say that...

Nice hotel, lovely and comfortable to stay, just needs improvement on there breakfasts, as some of the cooked breakfast went cold whilst waiting for them to fill the rest up, not enough staff on a sunday morning to keep up with the amount of people coming into the restaurant

Overall, I had an excellent experience. The only drawback was the some of the breakfast offering were cold - scrambled eggs and beans - I left them on the plate.

My stay at the holiday Inn hotel was ok. It was within close proximity to my intended venue. The front desk staff was amazing. Julian was on duty for most of the time that I stayed there and he was very helpful. He took time to point out the areas of interest in town and shared his experience of some of the sights which coincide with my views. I was not happy with my room initially, as the carpets had stains which I think was gross. I mentioned this and they provided me an alternative which exceeded my expectation. I was also afforded the opportunity to check in early as my flight to Manchester arrived early and I was exhausted from the journey. The breakfast staff was also very helpful. I received recommendations for make up artist in the area which would assist with my purpose for being in Manchester.

Everything you’d expect from a Holiday Inn, low cost yet parking on site, large room which was very clean and had everything we needed. Staff were excellent, friendly, helpful and accommodating at all times. My only issue which is minor was the lack of bedside plugs but it didn’t affect my stay. I’ll certainly book again.

Poor food and “chef” doesn’t know about allergies.

The evening menu quality is is very poor. The kitchen staff need further training as the “chef” struggled to cook a steak medium rare and did not seem to understand the what a dairy allergy is. Luckily the waitress was on the ball.
