Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Mix Up on Room When we got to our room, they gave us a room with a king size bed and we had requested 2 queen size beds. When I called to let them know, the lady told us there were no more rooms available. She offered us a fold away bed. We have had our reservations since last December! She checked with the manager (I think Sharlene?) and she quickly brought us the keys to a room with queen size beds and apologized for the confusion and gave us a voucher for $20 at Bennigans. We chose the buffet and it was very good. We have stayed at this hotel many years and this is the first time we encountered this. And, we are always greeted by the manager when we arrive and leave. She is AWESOME! This was just a little hiccup and will not keep us from coming back. We loved the remodeling that is being done at this location! Overall very well pleased with our stay. I used to get a IHG club member goody bag - are they no longer offering these? August 24, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Missing Shower Curtain and inconvenience 3 night stay-Aug. 18-21. The 2nd morning of my stay, I discovered at 6:30 a.m. when I stepped into the shower/tub, the shower curtain had been removed. Having showered the day before, as far as I could recall, there was nothing wrong with the curtain. Not sure why it would be removed and not replaced in time for one to take a shower! After calling the front desk, I learned that the only option was to go up to another floor to shower; since only Housekeeping could help with the missing shower curtain and they were not in until 7:00. After traveling to the 5th floor, I had to rush to make my 8:00 a.m. meeting! The worst part of this story is that when I returned to my room at 2:45 p.m., the room had not been cleaned nor the curtain replaced! I had to call, request cleaning and the curtain replacement! I had to wait 45 minutes to almost an hour before it was resolved. The front desk staff kept asking me........wonder why the shower curtain would be missing and wonder why it's not there?! How would I know-I'm the paying guest! That's the dumbest inconvenience I've ever experienced at a hotel and then, to not even be compensated in some manner is inexcusable. I will not be staying at a Holiday Inn again. Parking is ridiculous-even during the week, I was only able to park in the lot one night. The parking garage across the street was full-the spots designated for hotel guests that is....not very safe parking on the street around the corner! Disappointing. August 24, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Weekend Festival stay at Holiday Inn The hotel has been updated but rooms are still damp smelling upon check-in. I would suggest turning the AC on a day in advance when they know it's been hot and the rooms have been unused for a period of time. With the AC set to max, the room did cool off over a period of many hours. The bathroom floor was badly in need of updating with many stains and worn appearance. The bed was comfortable, the internet reliable, coffee in the room was good. There is a refrigerator in all rooms, which is nice. I was disappointed that there were no in room safes. I was disappointed that my confirmation for a non-smoking room was not honored, and the manager did not attempt to honor the reservation. I feel the entire hotel should be non-smoking, since the smoke does permeate areas that are supposed to be non-smoking. August 19, 2015
