Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sleep, eat A modern, up to date hotel. Terrific breakfast in a very attractive setting. The guest room was comfortable and roomy. Joey at front desk issued a warm greeting when we checked in and provided information to a local restaurant, J. Peters, where we went for dinner. It was outstanding. April 26, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Renovations Progress The room was very clean and attractive. However, there was no place to hang up my clothes. When I inquired at the front desk I was told that the rooms had been updated with paint, carpet and wallpaper, but the new furniture had not arrived. Unfortunately in the renovation the closet had been utilized to install a refrigerator and microwave. The price for the room was $11 more than the other HI Express in Anderson (advertised on the internet) but still under renovation. I felt there should have been some accommodation price wise. However, the property is going to be excellent when complete and the staff is already functioning at an excellent level. April 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay Stayed here for a wedding. The room was clean and comfortable. And we especially liked the firm or soft pillow choices that were marked with the pillow cases. I also liked that there was a duvet on the comforter, an item not usually washable in other hotels. The staff was very friendly and the lobby looked brand new. My only issue was the placement of electrical sockets. Between tablets, computers and cell phones, it was hard to find a convenient place to charge devices. April 7, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable and friendly The minute I waked in the door the gentleman at the desk was friendly and knowledgeable. I asked him why there was plastic in the hallway. He explained that renovations were on going and even showed me a layout of what everything will look like when it is finished. I didn't think anything I saw was too bad and it seemed to be very clean. March 31, 2016

The staff was great. Everyone was so friendly. The furniture was dated but i saw on the poster near the desk what the furniture will look like and it will be extremely nice when finished.
