Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly Staff Everyone at the hotel was so very friendly, The breakfast menu was great. There was a wide variety of foods to choose from and it tasted good also. I liked that there was always coffee, tea, hot chocolate even cold water available in the lobby. The hotel was clean(inside and outside), the room and bathroom was spacious and comfortable. We also really enjoyed the warm cookies in the afternoon! YUM! June 23, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by recent HI stay Southington The desk staff were very good, the hotel and room were clean. The room price was better than I expected. Large well lighted parking area. The breakfast was adequate. Hotel billing resulted in almost 4 times the room rate being held and then right amount charged. It took 5 days to fully resolve. It may not have been this hotel's fault, just the credit card processer company used by HI. June 21, 2016

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by In Grave Need of a Complete Renovation We were very disappointed with the quality of this Holiday Inn in Southington, CT. The wallpaper in our room (not to the mention in the bathroom) was bubbling and starting to peel off the wall. The bathroom was atrocious! There was a white substance smeared on the chrome fixtures of the shower/tub as if someone didn't thoroughly wipe off the cleaning fluid. There was a white crusty substance on the fixtures would could have and should have been cleaned off by a maid during normal housekeeping. There was what appeared to be mold, though the nice lady at the front desk tried to tell me it was discoloration caused by chemicals they were using to try and clean the caulking. The complimentary buffet breakfast was sufficient. The front desk personnel were professional and friendly. But I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. June 15, 2016
