Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by nice hotel, weird lobby Very nice room with clean lovely bathroom. Strange lighting service that must be European as you must leave your key in a slot to have lights go on. Great idea, except room was so dark when lights were out, one could never find the bathroom with lights out. They need night lights. Pillows were not great, but extra blanket was freshly cleaned and a perfect weight for the room. May 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Impressed Overall we were very impressed with this hotel and Hotel Indigo as a brand. The room was comfortable and big enough for the two of us. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and inviting. I did not like the pillows (they were feather and not supportive) but I used a cushion underneath and that was much better. Also the shaving point outlet did not work and it was not fixed after mentioning it to the front desk staff - they did however answer all our other queries and requests adequately. We stayed here using reward nights but I would not hesitate to pay rack rate to stay again. May 29, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointing all round I booked an Executive Room with a King Bed several months before my stay, the refreshing design and description had me excited about a hotel stay for the first time in several years. However I checked my booking on the morning before check in and discovered that I had been downgraded to a Standard Room. I phoned the hotel and was told this was due to a mistake and my original room selection had been re-instated. Hmm. After I checked in I must say I was a bit deflated. The "king bed" was actually 2 single beds pushed together, the bathroom was tiny, and there was no sign of the complimentary wine from the mini bar that was in the room description when I booked. The room was on the 1st floor at the front of hotel, so there was quite a lot of street noise that kept me awake through the night. The hotel managements solution to this was not to invest in some new windows, but provide ear plugs at the side of the bed. Breakfast was included in the nice looking restaurant attached to the hotel, but after a poor nights sleep I decided to simply check out and make my way to Paddington to head home. The station is extremely close and it is very convenient for this purpose. Shortly after my stay, I received an email with a link to a survey which I filled out with honesty. One of the questions that was asked was whether I would like someone from hotel management to contact me about my stay - to which I answered yes. To date, no one has been in contact, which kind of add insult to injury. May 27, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by My favorite London hotel I have been staying at this hotel since shortly after it opened, and I keep coming back because the quality and service have been consistently excellent. Staff adds to the pleasure of the stay, going out of their way to be pleasant and helpful. Several of the staff have been there long enough that we recognize each other, so there is an additional pleasure in the stay, like seeing an old friend. The location is very convenient, there are numerous of good places to eat including in house, and the room is always quiet, clean and comfortable. I spend many nights away from home, and I appreciate coming to Hotel Indigo-Paddington when I am in London. May 26, 2015
