Spent a night here with the family on our way home from holiday in the south of France. After a very long day of driving, it was very easy to find the hotel, just off the motorway. Located far enough[More]
from Calais to be uncrowded, yet within an hour of the Tunnel. After some struggle to get a room with working AC, we enjoyed dinner in the hotel restaurant. For a reasonable price we fed the family of 5, and all the children declared it one of 'the best' meals we'd had on the holiday. The grounds are fenced and secure, so I was happy to let the children burn off energy running around outside, and also confident about leaving our fully packed (including bikes on racks) car in the car park. Every staff member we met was friendly and very helpful. When we had to make an early start in the morning to get to the Chunnel, the lady running breakfast helped me pack some food to feed the kids in the car, and provided the all important coffee for my wife. All in all, a very satisfactory stay, and we will be returning on future trips. [Less]
A reminder of a pleasant surprise
This was a second time staying at this hotel. The friendly and courteous staff made us and our children feel welcome, the outdoor games and gadgets enhanced their stay and enjoyment, while the pool[More]
was great for them to use on a very warm day.
The food was good, while the hotel overall was a cheerful place to be in. If there is a minus, it is the carpet in the bedroom which for a 4 star hotel was substandard.
Another benefit of staying here was children eating for free which in these austerity times is a big plus. Well done HI for helping parents with such an offer. [Less]
Very relaxing, only 75 minutes from the tunnel, lovely gardens and outdoor pool, if you get the chance use the restaurant, food excellent, definitely better than staying at Calais.[Less]
A very good hotel, easy to find, great location, good secure parking and very friendly staff. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Arras area. much better than any Holiday Inn Express[More]

Poor Breakfast quality lets this hotel down
Firstly, the reception staff was very helpful and was able to assist promptly and professionally. I did not catch her name, but thank you. the room was fine, nothing special but clean and[More]
comfortable, and that was enough for the trip I was on. The breakfast was the Achilles heel in this visit. It was, in my opinion, poor quality, poor variety and poor service. So what is otherwise, a nice hotel, the breakfast is lacking so I took a second and much nicer breakfast in one of the many cafe/bars in the area.
Though stated, it is not stated clear enough that their is an additional 10 euro charge for a second guest, also, parking is not free.
Therefore, if two or more persons have an overnight stay and have traveled by car, an additional 20+ euros will be added to the price given by your search engine. [Less]
