The staff were some of the friendliest I have ever encountered at any hotel/motel/resort. Without exception, we were greeted by everyone that worked there and their greeting wasn't "canned" like you see when they are forced to greet customers/guests, they genuinely seemed happy to see us and enthusiastic about their desire to make our stay pleasant. We stayed at another hotel a few days after this one because it was more convenient to where we needed to be, but we really wished we would have driven the few extra miles to go back here, the service was that much better. Next time, no doubt about where we'll stay!

Great modern renovation at a reasonable price. Professional, courteous staff. Prompt check-in and check-out. Surprised how well Holiday Inn Express has executed such a rebranded ambiance.

The first room I entered did not have shades on the window - there was only a thin curtain. I didn't think I would be able to sleep or would wake up at 5:30 AM(because of sunlight coming in), so I asked to be moved to another room.
The second room didn't have a faucet fixture on the shower, so there was no way I could take a shower. I didn't find this out until the next morning when I got ready to take a shower.
This hotel property is older and at one time was another lower priced chain. Intercontinental Hotels Group really needs to pay a visit here and try to inspect every room to insure that they all have essential features like shower faucets and window blinds. It's amazing that this hotel hasn't gotten more scrutiny since it is little over 10 minutes from the Intercontinental Hotels Group HQ!

We have stayed at this hotel several times and had really good experiences. However, this last time, we were outraged at a NEW practice they have instituted. We are used to prepaying our hotel stays and then having the credit card placed on file for incidentals. This hotel has gone one step further by actually charging $15.00 to the card immediately and then saying it will take 3 - 4 days to have it removed after checkout. This must be a new owner or franchisee because the previous franchisee NEVER did that. They only ran the card for actual charges, not POSSIBLE charges.
We will not return to this hotel as long as they have this practice. Be Aware

The best check in ever. Tre was exceptional with check in. I usually stay at the holiday inn near Delk road. This will be my choice from now on. Thank you for the great service.

Overall the hotel was good. Great location, the staff was friendly but I was put right next to the side exit and the door slams shut and kept waking me up when people went out at all hours.

Ended up parking at the rear and walking around to the front, layout/parking a little confusing, especially when arriving after midnight!
Mattress isn't great, every movement transmitted to my partner. After staying at another HI Express the next night it was confirmed this is standard mattress fare.
