The pool/hot tub was down and there is no bar or lounge area. My friends and I were looking for to hang out and we’re just cooped up in our room.

First of all I can’t say enough about Kerri at the Front Desk . She was both helpful and Friendly.. Safe and clean property but the lack of individual boxes of cereal and individual muffins are a concern and basically make breakfast a non option for me . Overall I’d recommend this hotel .

Zach on the front desk was so very kind and helpful. My wife, my 6 months old daughter and myself had an excellent one night. The room was spacious, spotless and filled with everything a modern hotel should boast. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

While I didn’t have but one night in MacClenny,FL…….I would totally go back. Very friendly small town so much better than staying in Jacksonville and it’s BIGGER city stuff.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Macclenny starting April 19, 2025, and had a good overall experience. The property was very clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast was a definite highlight with plenty of fresh options. The location was convenient and easy to get to.
If I had to nitpick, the room lighting felt a bit harsh and flat, and the overall vibe was a little too corporate and bland for my taste. It could use a bit more warmth or personality. Still, the comfort and cleanliness made up for it. I’d give it an 8/10 and would stay again.

The staff was very professional and friendly and everything was clean and organized. The bedding was really high quality for such a reasonably priced room and we slept great. We would definitely stay here again as a halfway point on a trip we make frequently between Northwest Florida and Central Florida.

We booked this hotel as we didn't want to stay in the immediate Jacksonville area. We were delightfully surprised. The hotel is fairly new, well kept and the staff are friendly. We recommend this hotel if you wish to avoid the busy traffic in Jacksonville.

I highly recommend this property. Everything was wonderful EXCEPT, when I called IHG from the parking lot to make a reservation using my IHG membership, the customer service rep said there were no rooms available. The parking lot was virtually empty so we went inside and Becky at the front desk got us a room and said there were several available. So customer service at the IHG phone number was not helpful but in person at the hotel was great.
