Featured Munich Hotels

Munich, capital of the beautiful southern German province of Bavaria, is a fascinating mix of the modern and the traditional. With a history stretching back to the eighth century, today you find traditional culture and contemporary living hand in hand, while modern and medieval architecture stand side by side. Munich is only 30 miles from the Alps, and though it was heavily damaged during World War II, its historic Old Town has undergone extensive renovations and contains many architectural points of interest and memorable Germany hotels.
follow the path of the prisoner, and see the original prisoner quarters and the crematorium, along with many exhibitions and memorials.
Munich is renowned for its beer halls. Most brew their own beer, and the visiting connoisseur has nearly unlimited choices. Visit the Wesses Brauhaus, which has been around since the 19th-century, and sample beers whose descriptions range from refreshing like a dance in a summer breeze to relaxing moments by the fire. Or try the
, the world's oldest beer hall. For food rather than drink, wander the stalls of the Viktualienmarket, Munich's outdoor farmer's market. With over 140 booths offering local food, flowers, and spices, you're sure to find something which captures your fancy.
The English Garden is Munich's biggest park and one of its prime tourist attractions. It's bigger than New York's Central Park, and offers paddle boats for the water, woodland paths, and even beer gardens.
If museums are more your speed, Munich has many to offer.
The German Museum
is unique, in that it's located on an island in the Isar River. It's a museum of science and technology, and boasts intriguing historical artifacts, like the world's first electric dynamo and the first car. Munich is also home to one of the oldest art galleries in the world, the Alte Pinakothek, which houses over 800 masterpieces from the Middle Ages.

Service great as always - Wifi very poor though
By deeem1964
Customer service, accommodation, food and drink - as always great from my perspective. However, as I was staying in one of the furthest rooms from reception (Room 393) the Wifi signal was very poor/ [More] often non-existent and hence working from my room of an evening was near on impossible. For future designs, more power outlets are required. Just one outlet on the desk and no outlet at the bedside table is insufficient at this time. [Less]
Pleasant Haven of Peace

This hotel offers a quality product at low price, and it was one of the few hotels that I was actually able to rest in. The room was comfortable with a decent bed and pillows and there was no noise [More] whatsoever. The restaurant and bar area offer a wide variety of food and beverage selections, with Bavarian and Munich specialties on the menu. The U-Bahn (subway) station is a short walk away and the city center (Marienplatz) is about 20 minutes ride away. [Less]
Classic Express with attentive staff.
By DerekTT
Easy to find and v.close to airport. Quick check in (one of my niggles), WiFi good enough for video streaming. Room clean and comfortable. Don't open the window at night as the bugs pop in. [More] Restaurant and bar efficient and great multilingual staff. Dinner choice and quality good. Breakfast basic but it is an Express. TV channels limited but fine for one night. Bit of jet noise in the morning but hey your on top of the runway! Car park a bit chaotic due to a number of large vans and classic hire car parkers (take 1.5 spaces per car). Fast check out. Locally supermarket and cheaper fuel station than the airport in Hallbergmoos. Overall clean and well managed, staff very attentive. [Less]

Very nice airport hotel
By Winny22
The service we received from the staff was really good. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. The only negative thing was that we couldn't control the temperature of the room and it was far too warm. [More] Opening a window is not an option because the planes are too loud. This hotel gives great value for your money. [Less]
Great service
By tomaspablo
This hotel is really close to the Munich conference center. Getting there was a challenge as traffic was terrible on the first day, but great after. If you are going to this hotel, there is nothing [More] near it. But a quick taxi to the city worked fine. [Less]
